Vice President's Message | March 2021
Updated: Mar 22, 2021
In the midst of this difficult and persistent pandemic, we have all been forced to reflect and contemplate ways of coping. We looked to our leaders, families and friends for comfort but they too sought the same.
I am happy we had the opportunity for the past year to worship on Zoom together. I am thankful for the members, and visitors who stuck with us during this time. Meeting and sharing our stories before and after church was a unique experience. With that same spirit, we are pleased to know we can plan to reopen church on Mother's Day granting us the opportunity to see each other in person again.
Our new consistory is a blessing to CRC and we pray we may serve as an example of what working as a team looks like. We have accomplished a great deal during the pandemic and with God's blessing, we pray we continue that trend for the year. As the majority lean to taking the vaccine, let us be hopeful that things will get better for both our congregation and our nation.
Thank you. Mertella Munroe Vice President/ Office Manager Clarkstown Reformed Church
